IGC Welcomes Executive Chef, Jerry Weathers!!!
Jerry Weathers, the new IGC Executive Chef, began his cooking career early on as a teenager in high school in the Culinary Arts Pro-Start program. He received the honor of Pro-Start Student of the Year for Washington State, which awarded him various scholarships. He chose to attend Walla Walla CC based on the college’s Enology and Viticulture program, with direct integration of cooking and paring foods with wines, and took a bronze medal at the American Culinary Federation skills competition while completing his culinary degree! Chef Weathers remains affiliated with Mount Si’s High School Pro-Start Program as a Chef Instructor and a Board member. Because of this affiliation, Chef Weathers frequently judges and coaches individuals in both regional and state culinary and DECA competitions. Professionally, Chef Weathers carries a strong pedigree of private club expertise, having worked at TPC Snoqualmie Ridge for over 9 years, with additional experience in hotels and restaurants throughout his career. Most recently, Chef Weathers held the Chef de Cuisine title at Snoqualmie Casino’s 12 Moons Fine Dining Asian Bistro. He is a very driven individual that takes challenges and the diversity of the ever-evolving hospitality industry in stride! He has a strong pedigree in vegetarian and vegan cooking and enjoys sampling new creations using the large Weathers’ garden at home! Jerry also has two young children, Logan (3 ½) and Lilliana (2). Inglewood is very fortunate to have such a talented and capable individual as our Executive Chef!
