IGC Welcomes Food & Beverage Director, Amanda Kent!
IGC is very excited to announce the hiring of our new Food and Beverage Director, Amanda Kent.
Amanda was born and raised in New Hampshire and worked her way through college at the University of Vermont in various roles in the restaurant industry. After graduating, Amanda began her journey west, first landing in Salt Lake City, Utah where she continued her career working in high-end restaurants and developing her passion for great food and wine. She worked with some of the most successful and talented restaurateurs in the Salt Lake area before opening Citris Grill in 2002. That year, Citris Grill received the award for Best New Restaurant from the Salt Lake City Weekly. For over a decade Amanda and her team owned, operated and expanded their successful concept to three locations in Utah and one in Texas. Amanda moved on in 2012 to become the General Manager of Canyon Pines at Mountain Dell Golf Course. Amanda was directly responsible for creating one of the top public course restaurants and food and beverage programs in Utah, receiving an award from the Salt Lake Tribune for best golf course food and service in the state. After three years, Amanda, her husband David, and their English Bulldog Hank moved to Bend, Oregon. To be closer to family, they recently relocated to Seattle. Amanda and her family are so happy to finally be living and working in a beautiful place they have enjoyed visiting over the last four years!
In her spare time Amanda loves to be with her family and to be outdoors. She is happiest with her husband on the river and camping, trail and road running, skiing, or playing a round on the course.
Please welcome Amanda to the IGC family!
